"Nobody spoke during the presentation."
"We get plenty of snow here during the winter."

How to use while

When is used to talk about two things that are happening at the same time. The length of time is not important. Remember that while is used with a subject and a verb (while + subject + verb). For example:
"The phone rang while I was watching TV."
"I met him while we were studying in the library."

How to use for

For is a preposition which is used with a period to say how long something goes on:
"Simon has been sleeping for 8 hours."

H. Moving to Toronto - Part IAre you ready? I am sure you ask yourself that question over and over again as you wait for the day you will board the plane to Canada.  In this series, we'll get to know Toronto's main place of interest, understand the work culture there, the best and coolest restaurants, see what the real estate market looks like in the city and of course, things to do for fun in this city.  We'll do one at a time and it will involve some research, writing and quick oral summaries of your findings.

Today, we are going to investigate what are the main cultural places to visit in the city and surroundings. In order to do that, I've compiled a few sites that you need to read and extract the TOP 10 places to visit in Toronto. Prepare a quick description of each and tell me why you found them interesting.
